timeline of early Canadian history

Last night, our beautiful 12 year old and I worked together to illustrate and write about the Timeline of Early Canadian History. I learned that Canada became its own country in 1982. Britain granted Canada its freedom then.

Katie composed the content, I did some writing for her and I also got a chance to try and make a decent Union Jack flag.

Brad sketched the maple leaf flag of Canada and Katie colored the flags and added a little more flair. Way to go Katie Grace and thanks for involving your parents!
