kayak day

Today our family drove to Anacortes, WA and were thrilled to take a kayak adventure with Anacortes Kayak Tours. Katie and I were in a double kayak, Brad and Osten were in another and Anders had a solo kayak. Our guide along with a family of four navigated the marina and then into Burrows Bay.

Our guide was a pleasant man who was originally from upstate New York. He did a couple of kayak rolls for us at the end of our journey. 

after kayaking, we went out for pizza in downtown Anacortes.

and then we drove to Deception Pass (both my friend Trish and our kayak guide said this was a must see). Only Brad and I were brave enough to get out and take a closer look.
