home again

"There's no place like home" Osten last night when we arrived home in River Falls. He was so happy to see his couch and almost immediately asked Alexa "how are the Twins doing today?" So good to be home!

We spent 262 hours 16 minutes and 6 seconds on our vacation--Katie had a timer running the entire time.

Our mileage was 4,362 miles and our fuel economy was 46.5 miles per gallon. We traveled through the states of Wisconsin, Minnesota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Montana and North Dakota.

We saw license plates from: California, Idaho, Wisconsin, Wyoming, Alaska, Nebraska, Minnesota, Michigan, Arizona, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, North Carolina, South Dakota, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Florida, Texas, Iowa, Tennessee, Colorado, Utah, Illinois, Indiana, Vermont, Montana, New York, Ohio, Kentucky, South Carolina, Missouri, Maine, Alabama, Quebec, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Alberta and British Columbia.

We traveled through daylight saving time in three time zones--Central, Mountain and Pacific.
Our longest distance traveled in one day was on our way home when we drove 758 miles from Missoula, Montana to Bismarck, North Dakota.

Katie's votes for Best hotel was in Casper, Wyoming. Best food was KFC in Hudson, Wisconsin (almost home)
