homeward bound

We are now southern bound destination River Falls. I’m excited to see Katie and hear about her time at work. The sun is shining, the song Cone on Eileen is on the radio…we’re feeling fine!

Saw the sun rise on Snowbank, had breakfast, did a little walk on the lake, packed up and boarded up the cabin. Brad shoveled the roof and Osten and I shoveled the deck. Then we loaded the Snow Dog and drive back to the Outfitters to head into Ely. We stopped and explored the ranger station to purchase a dead and downed tree cutting permit. Also stopped to look at a gas refrigerator and for lunch at DQ.

It’s shocking how much sunlight there is right now…love daylight saving time!
