projects at the cabin

Our cabin neighbor John came over and gave Brad a tutorial and materials to help guard against carpenter ants. We found some piles of them when we opened up. Brads been working hard at spraying today. Then there are some stairs that needed repair…Brad did that as well. 

I’ve been busy testing out the peddle board, floating on the inner tube, putting up the hammock and reading a new book called Winter Garden. I also went berrying and didn’t find many as compared to last year. 

Now Brads making steak and I’ll make mushrooms and mashed potatoes. Cabin time is pretty amazing z
