day 5 BWCA August 5

This was a stay close to camp day as the wind was up all day. We pumped water from shore as the wind was so strong. I took laps around the island and spent as much time as possible in the calm parts of the island playing cards and getting photos of my daily hikes around the island to get my steps. 

Breakfast was eggs and hash browns, lunch was peanut butter jelly roll ups and dinner was Mac and Cheese. 

At about 3pm the weather started rolling in and we all camped in our tents for a few hours. Then we came out, made and ate Mac and Cheese and got our rain gear on. When the weather started getting too much (about 7:30) we all went to an early retirement. Everyone’s tent got wet even with the great tarp systems in place.
