a good alternative

Today was supposed to be Anders graduation party. 22 years ago, Brad and I had chosen June 13 to be our wedding day...but neither came to pass. 22 years ago, we weren't able to find the venue to have our wedding and reception. This year, the ability to have an old fashioned graduation party was not a safe alternative. 

So, we are at the lake -- we brought Anders' girlfriend Lindsey along for the weekend. We are having fun and the day was picture perfect. I will call my Mom tomorrow because the cell service is terrible for me here in the north country--she called while we were enjoying ice cream at the dairy. 

We went shopping at the Blueberry Shop in Grantsburg and on to the Shops at Siren. Then Lindsey, Anders and I played a round of mini-golf and we stopped at the Dairy for some ice cream. Then playing in the lake and to Brent and Molly's for dinner. Now it's time for bed and we will hopefully sleep tight!
