sitting on the dock of the bay
A little weather fit found it's way to Wood Lake on Saturday. Brad, Bud, A and I worked together to put in a dock on the north shore of Wood Lake. The large sleet started pelting and we retreated into the house. The sun started shining, so we went back out to our job. About 15 minutes passed of inserting dock sections. Another squall of finer sleet and another retreat. In another 15 minutes, we were back out in the sun and back to work. Next came a strong wind and a fine snow. That one lasted for a while--about 30 minutes.
Finally, we were able to insert the last dock sections and the rest is history. Kind of unexpected for May 11, but this year, not too unexpected.

big love for Birchbark House
I’m entranced by Louise Erdrich stories. I’m reading the Birchbark House series. Almost done with book 4 of 5. I just wish there were more.
