According to NY Daily News, Phil didn't see his shadow on
Saturday, so we will have an early spring.
A competed in a Shadow Seeking swim meet this weekend. He competed in three events on Saturday and four on Sunday. He improved all his times except in the 50 backstroke as he was disqualified (not sure why).
On Saturday he swam--50 freestyle in 45.2 seconds, 100IM (breast, back, freestyle and butterfly) in 1:56.76 and disqualified on the backstroke
On Sunday he swam--100 freestyle 1:41.62, on a 200 freestyle relay where he was disqualified, 50 breast 51.39 seconds and 50 fly 54.7 seconds.
He earned a C time so will be eligible to swim in a C finals meet in a few weeks. This coming weekend, he has a meet in River Falls. It is so much fun--probably more for Mom than son ;)
