We’re getting ready to have some steaks that Brad is grilling and enjoy some loon calls and maybe a round or two of cards.

getting settled
We arrived at the cabin yesterday afternoon. We’ve been working on some projects. First at thinning out the kitchen stuff (4 big boxes are back in our truck right now), Second bridging the gap from the shore through a boggy area with older dock sections from Bud and Bettys place and some gang planks made by the Baimgartens. Thirdly, getting internet up and running and also solar energy to power the internet, phone charging and an ice maker to keep our cold stuff cold. Also spent a fair amount of time vacuuming with an Shark that Brad found on Facebook marketplace.
