hike to the trailhead

Brad and I decided to try the path to the Snowbank hiking trail. Thankfully we had mosquito protection as we witnessed lots of trees, flowers and evidence of wildlife (wolf scat). 

We hiked to the end of the trail and then rented a canoe from Adam, Jenny and the Snowbank Lodge Outfitters so we could paddle back to our cabin. The motor on our boat had pooped out and we needed a way to get back to mainland to get home. Adam and Jenny are originally from central Illinois close to where Anders was born. The world is small. 

Anyway, had a great day, so great I forgot to post. Here are photos from our hike and day…
