This evening, O & I went for a walk downtown to pick up some dish soap. I was going to put him in the bike seat and go quickly, but he asked to walk. We haven't done a lot of walking with O because we are typically on a mission to get from point A to point B. With the evening being so lovely and with no deadline, we took our time on our walk. He petted the cars he liked, he window shopped at the pharmacy and at 2nd Star clothing store. He swung around some polls and threw some rocks. He made friends with a nice black dog and was so thrilled to be on his schedule.
I hope we can take the time for more wanderings soon.
