talent that just keeps going

This afternoon, I attended the RFHS production of Anything Goes. I was able to see some former students light up the stage and one of my former students mentioned our classroom as her gateway to the stage when doing Reader’s Theater as a 1-3 grader.

So many talented actors, musicians and dancers. One number brought tears of joy to my eyes (there’s always one scene that gets me) that closed out the first act. A girl who was good friends with Katie back when she played basketball was a really great dancer…so proud of her! Also, our neighbor, Megan who started her acting career in 4H plays with Katie and Anders and was so timid, played the role of a siren. She just came alive! Great show and glad I was able to attend with my friend Marci.
