On July 19 and 20, Katie visited Associated Dentists and Orthodontics to have two teeth extracted and casts made for an orthodontic consultation happening in early August. She did great with the extractions but needed some extra Novocaine on the left side of her mouth because that one just didn't want to leave its happy little spot. Both teeth extracted had tiny little cavities so it was nice to explore what cavities look like. Hopefully that will motivate better self oral care.
On the 20th, we had the lovely photo snapped and then the tech thought we should come back for impressions because her mouth was so tender from the extractions the day before.
Monday, August 21st we will be having her consultation to see the next steps in her ortho journey.
