Day 2 at the same school but different venue. The 5th grade girls basketball team from River Falls won first place and our 5th grader score two buckets. One in game 1 and the other in game 2. The first game was against the Menomonie Mustangs where we won. The second game was against and we won. The third game was against Altoona and we won. The girls ended up placing first place at the tournament.
While we were in Chippewa, our 15 year old was in Hudson for a swim meet. They again were outswam by the larger squads, but our 15 year old is still really enjoying the sport and the friendships. On Saturday night, we went to a surprise 18 year old birthday party for his relatives, Ben and Gabe Wurdell who happen to also be on his swim team.
So great to have friends to help out when you need to be in two places at once.
