Our daughter, K continually amazes me. We were decorating cupcakes for her birthday snack day. We have a cupcake carrier for 2 dozen sweet delicacies. K doesn't like frosting, so our decorating choice was to insert a beach umbrella into each cupcake to go with her luau theme. The umbrellas were too long to fit nicely into the cupcake carrier.
K used her sensible mind and decided we should break off part of the toothpick to make the umbrella shorter. Alas, her solution worked and the first graders in Ms. Altenberg's class will be enjoying birthday cupcakes for K's snack day!
