This morning we had a fun lesson about the solar eclipse using the Montessori planet map. Five of my 24 students were in the path of totality so they were able to see the total eclipse. One of our teachers was also there to witness.
It was very overcast so we didn’t see much, but we did watch NASA live coverage and witnessed several total eclipses as it passed through the US. Really makes you realize how small we are!
