appointment day with the best Mom In America
Woke up on the home farm and had a nice breakfast with brother Kurt. Then off to Mountain Lake to pick Mom up for her cardiac and spine imaging appointments. We drove her Edge blasting 80s music. She did so well walking and navigating her day. Her heart has been working really hard for a long time and looks like it may be ready for retirement. That wasn’t the news I wanted to hear, but we’re keeping a positive attitude. Lunch at Wendy’s where she blew a straw wrapper at me and then we went to the Madison East Mall for imaging of her spine. She was treated to two warm blankets and was so very appreciative of the warmth. The techs all fell in love with Mom.
