A dramatic and daring rescue took place this morning. A horse (a Clydesdale sized horse) went through the ice sometime after 8:30 am, and spent three hours in the drink before being dragged to shore, where it stood up and walked to a waiting trailer!
It happened near Hanson's point…one of my favorite walking/jogging places around the lake.
