day 2 swim meet…pool and Lake Henry

We left our place at 7am for 7:30 warm ups. Katie swam 3 events and had one best time. Her 50 free was 29.01, her 100 breast was 1:17.85 (personal best) and her 200 IM was 2:33.74.

Then it was on to Lake Henry for the 440 yard lake swim. She loved it so much, she asked to swim on Sunday twice the distance, the 880.

We came to our place and hung out at our pool and I finished a great book, The Good Left Undone. We showered up and readied ourselves for dinner. 

We went to Pizza Ranch with the kids (total of six swimmers) and parents. . Then a few parents went to a tap room while the kids hung out. Now we’re back to our place and will head to bed soon to get up again early in the am for another day at the pool.
