Final day of Alexandria swim meet. After departing our sweet little cabin, we drove to Discovery Middle school. Katie swam the 100 freestyle and had a personal best of 1:01.73. She also swam the 50 breast and got a time of 35.79 got first but didn’t place because she swam as exhibition. Lastly she swam the 100 fly and got a time of 1:12.73.
Before she swam, I went on a little hike behind the school and on a walking trail. Saw some lovely sights.
After the pool, we drove to city park and she swam the 880 and got second place with an 11:52. We drove to the big Ole statue near Lake Agnus and she put all her medals in her arms in celebration.
We drove home and we’re greeted by Osten and Brad. Had dinner and then Katie went to spend the night at her friend Sydney’s house. Fun-filled weekend!
