crack

Crack went the water as it hit the snow. It’s a bitterly cold morning in River Falls. My friend Petra, her dog Hagrid and I bundled up for our Friday morning walk. We abbreviated our journey as the temps were lingering at -10. The snow was very rigid and the walk ways icy. But we still walked about 7,000 steps.

The water cracked when I came home to empty my cold press coffee grounds into the compost. Now it’s time to get ready for the day. I will go to school to plan and prepare for the children’s return on Tuesday.
