Amazing surprise on Saturday. On Friday after school Brad and Osten asked if I thought it would be fun to head to the opening day of the MN United Football Club game (inaugural game). I immediately accepted and Brad bought 4 tickets. Anders was starting back at DQ, so he wasn't able to attend with us.
We got up and drove to Sun Ray shopping center in St. Paul and rode the 63 bus line to Snelling and Grand and then hopped the A line to University Avenue to Allianz stadium.
We arrived early so got a chance to walk around the new stadium and see all it had to offer. Katie and Osten received new scarves and we bought several rounds of hot dogs.
The game was exciting, the crowd was very responsive and the Loons ended up tying the New York Futbol Club 3-3.
After the match, we had a little Jamba Juice for dinner and rode back on the 63 to Sunray to get in our van and head home. It was a really fun day!
