confirmation teaching
I teach every day, but I don't often get a chance to work with middle schoolers. Last night, I subbed for Brad in teaching his confirmation class. It was fun to see what they are like and also to try and dig into some vocabulary of the scripture readings and recite the 2nd article of the apostle's creed. Many of the kids knew the words, but knowing what it meant will take some more time. It amazes me when I stop to try and unpack the meanings of words I've often recited.
