fourth of July at Wood Lake

Early on July 4, Katie, Nate and I went to the Freedom 5K in Siren, Wisconsin. We arrived shortly after 6:30am, got registered and ran our races. Nate finished just under 31 minutes, I finished at 31:02 --86th of 309 women  and Katie struggled a little with the heat and humidity and finished at 42:40 minutes 189th of 309 women She typically blows Nate and I out of the water so I'm thinking next year she will have payback.




We arrived back at the lake and enjoyed lots of outdoor time with cousins. So happy for our freedom!
