We’re hanging at Snowbank Lodge and Outfitters and will be heading across the lake to deliver a newer futon and hang out at the cabin for a few hours. I’m with my Valentine Brad (our 30th Valentines Day) and our amazing Osten (our 16th Valentines Day). I wish I could have spoken to my two other Valentines…Anders (our 25th) and Katie (our 21st), but I did get some snaps😍
This morning I had a braiding session with 3 of my sweet students including Vivian Grace and also enjoyed a nature walk with my class and work bestie Teri. Life is good.
It’s become a Red Oak tradition to build the biggest number with all the math materials. Today, the 99th day of school was that day. Here’s Vivian Grace helping make the number.
What a wonderful day hosting Bunco at our house people were so kind complimenting our cozy lovely home. My friend Amanda made a yummy dessert and a fabulous black bean soup. I made chicken gnocchi, a lettuce salad and French bread.
Now we have Anders, Ally and Bruce over to watch the 60th Super Bowl. I hope Sam Darnold and the Seahawks. Joe Stoffel’s former room mates and team mates—Gray Zabel and Jalen Sundell are also on the O line.
Osten is starting to get a bit frustrated with his JV3 team. They are having a tough season. Keep working hard big O! He had a tournament in Eau Claire and we got a chance to hang out with Anders a bit and deliver a chair for his apartment.
Our Katie has Covid and Osten was feeling nauseous this morning. I hope they both start feeling better soon!
On the 12th day of school, I had my 4th day. So great to see the kids and my friends. I’m super tired, and very excited to return tomorrow.
