I got a box of cool clothes from stitch fix and will be keeping it all! 

happy Easter!

We started the day with 8:30 church and then we packed up to head to Grantsburg for lunch and to get Katie to uncle Brent so she could get a lift back to Mankato. 

We got to spend time with Bud and Betty, Mike and Ibby, Joe, Whitney, Henry, Sharon, Ally, Katie, Osten, Brad and myself. On our way north, we stopped in St Croix Falls for a little pit stop and photo op. I love when my kids are together!

Osten and I drove down to Butterfield today to hang out with the Blomgren’s and to dye Easter eggs. Great to see Cory, Kurt, Kyle, Mom, Kim, Joan, Vance, Trenton, Thomas, Kyle Jr. Kaitie, Bailey, Paige (baby on board), Luella and Vander. 

I drove Mom back to Good Sam and got to see a lovely letter Jenna wrote to her. I took a photo as it was the sweetest letter I’ve ever read. 

Then we got to listen to the Timberwolves defeat the LA Lakers in the first round of the NBA playoffs! Jaden McDaniels had a great game. 

first visit to First Avenue

I went to a fun concert with my friend Kim at First Avenue last night! Dawes great music and concert. One of the musicians reminded me of Anders. What a treat to go to a good show at the iconic First Ave!

These are our dating anniversary flowers but they even look nicer for Cory and Joan’s 32nd anniversary. 

I got to pick up my beautiful daughter this evening from a friends house in St. Paul. 

king of kings

Our church rented out the falls theater this evening to watch King of Kings—the story of Jesus’ life. It was lovely to see a great turnout to watch an incredible story. 

run Osten run

Osten had his first track meet of the season in Menominee this afternoon. I arrived just in time to see him get a PR in his mile run. He edged out his buddy Luke in the final stretch with a 6:12 time. I also saw him run the 400 and got some photos on the last curve. He’s hoping to improve at his next meet which is a great goal. 

He’s the runner in red shirt and white shorts.

 Easter decorating, book reading and walk with friends. It was an excellent weekend.

new place

On Sunday, Brad, Osten and I helped Anders and Ally move their big stuff into their new apartment. They have a sweet little deck, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a spacious living room and kitchen. I’m excited to see how it all comes together! Brad had to leave for Chicago, but Osten and spent a little extra time by playing video games and buying some stuff to make their space homey. We saw the reddest sunset on our way out of Walmart… it was otherworldly. 

the NDSU Bison visit the Oval Office

Joe Stoffel and the NDSU Bison visited the Oval Office yesterday. His Momma Gretchen shared photos and videos. It is amazing the history Joe was able to partake.
