Our sixth graders hosted a dance at our gym tonight. I dressed in my brides maid dress from 2004…so much fun!

Today was an incredible day with finishing a great book by and even better author, sunshine, 50 degree temps, Kyle and Kim got Mom outside and a spectacular sunset.

Great day to road trip to Mountain Lake to visit the best Mom in America and then to go to Mankato to see the best daughter in America! 

3 robins

I heard a loud robin this morning as I was eating breakfast. Brad and I saw it. Walking to school I saw a robin and then walking home, I saw another. Spring is coming!

Our class presented a sweet readers theater called Fred the Skunk today. It was so lovely to see the kids shine and the parents smile!

I’m so lucky to be a teacher! I really have spectacular students and coworkers. Also got to see the full moon on my way over to work out tonight. Spring is on its way. 

home again

Mom was released from the hospital today. I hope she is comfortable and doesn’t get too confused. So may things have changed in the past two weeks and dementia is so challenging. I was able to get home and get a workout in! 

hello March!

The temperature was cold here in Mankato, but the sun was shining all day. I started the day at the church where my grandparents were married and ended swimming in the hotel pool. 

In between time with Mom, Kim, Kyle, Kurt, Katie, Christian, Molly and Siri. 

Lunch with Katie and Christian at Buffalo Wild Wings then to the mall where we ran into Molly and Siri. 

Hospital with K, K, K & Mom. Dinner with Kurt (he treated at Culver’s. 

Mom’s looking better today. It’s really wonderful getting to spend time with her.
