What a beautiful day…people just kept exclaiming over the weather and the lovely setting of Katie’s party. 

Huge thanks to Ibby for being the one to keep on top of food and helping put the finishing touches on decorating. To Chipotle and 3 Schweet Sisters for catering. To Anders and Ally for helping decorate and getting ice. To Kaitlin and Theo for decorating. To Angie, Michelle, Stacy and Marci for lending beautiful party supplies. To Betty and Kim for yummy desserts. To all the guests who took time out of their busy schedules to travel and wish our Katie the best in her college years. 

Lastly thank you Katie for working so hard and being the an amazing student. Love you to the moon and beyond.

Osten’s flag football team remained undefeated this season and won the 6/7 football tournament. We were getting ready for the party so only saw the first half of the first game, but they won three games today! 

My friend and coach Marci called and sang we are the champions!!!

so long 2023-24 school year

And it’s a wrap! The school year is finished and it’s time for summer. I have workshop tomorrow, but after some work in the classroom and meetings, I should be as free as a bird!

We had a wind storm today and one of the big plants at the office lost some flowers I decided to bring home and put it in a vase. I also did freshen up My hair with some color from JoAnn.

Today was a hot humid day in RF! I rode bike and melted on my way home from school. Then I was watching a movie with Osten after dinner and we noticed the darkening skies! Creepy feeling of a lot of unbridled power. It’s been raining a fair amount…don’t know when it will stop.

Osten’s Eagles team are ranked first in their Carbonite football season! I won’t be able to see their game day as I’ll be preparing for the big party, but so proud of this talented team of athletes. 

graduation day

Started out sunny and beautiful. We made it to our friend’s house to pick up things for the grad party next weekend. Then we prepared for the grad ceremony. 

Anders, Ally, Brad, Osten, Theo and I got to see our sweet Katie walk the stage and receive her high school diploma. We then went to Sapporo for dinner and Cold Stone for dessert. 

The rain clouds came rolling in right after we snapped some photos at RFHS. What a fantastic day! 

hello June

June is here! Osten’s football team was victorious again today and now are heading into the playoffs 5-0. The day was beautiful and I managed a hike after 8pm to the mounds. It was lovely. 

Katie attended the senior class party last night and also is featured in the window of Fox Den Books our amazing local bookstore.

Tomorrow is graduation day!
