parent teacher conference night

I feel energized and excited to go to school

after parent teacher conferences tonight! Planning a 5am walk with Petra tomorrow morning, so heading to bed soon.

Today I was at school and did a response to my friend Julie…one of my students jumped into the back ground and this goofy picture was captured…makes me giggle.

We’d have a lot of snow if it were colder. The rains have been steadily falling for a few hours. 

We went to Hudson to shop for concert attire for Osten. Can’t wait to see him in his choir concert. 

Now we’ll learn how everyone voted after our kid-term election!

blew us away, those Blugolds!

On Thursday, after school and a few conferences, Osten and I drive to Eau Claire to watch Anders perform at the Pablo Center with the UWEC Blugold marching band. They blew us away with their loud and amazing music. Anders also got a little dance break during the song Cheap Thrills. We were thrilled to see him in action.

The world became a better place the day Wencel & Pat brought home this wonderful human. Happy 55th birthday Kimberly Ann. 

division 1sectional swim meet

Katie competed in 4 events today and had two relays that both finished 6th—200 Medley and 200 freestyle.

Her two individual events were both 4th place finishes—200IM and 100 breast 

The place was packed and it was so fun watching her shine! 

And now we’re sitting in front of a beautiful fire in the wood stove. 

the end of the road for Wildcat football

The Wildcats met a better football team in the West DePere Phantoms. We lost 38-6. 

Better news, The River Falls girls divers finished 1, 2, 3 in sectional diving. Katie’s friend Rachel placed first and shattered the school record. 

Also saw a really cool sunset tonight.
