Our poor Grandma B fell this past Wednesday and broke another hip! At first, it seemed like she was ok and then was sent to the ER in St. James. They determined it was broken and surgery would be very risky. No room for her there so she was transferred to Fairmont. Kyle Jr., Paige and Jude live there so have been daily visitors. On Thursday, she was pretty unresponsive so we were thinking this was it…she would be entering her final days.
Friday rolled around and she became responsive again! Saturday, again she was responsive to visitors including Kent, Eden, Kurt, Liana, Adam, Jenna and her kids.
Today, Brad, Osten, Katie and I visited. She knew most of us right away, but then other times kind of lost track. She talked for a while and then started drowsing off. It’s looking like she will be returning to Mt. Lake either Monday or Tuesday morning.
