graduation day!

So proud of Anders as he finished his studies of finance and accounting at UW Eau Claire. We saw him cross the stage and then went out to celebrate with our whole family and his very good college friends. When we got home, I made brownie sundaes in his honor 🧑‍🎓🫶🏼

We went to our friend, Henri’s block party and he started showing Osten how to DJ. Fun night!

Osten had his last day at of 8th grade confirmation on Wednesday. Next year he will be confirmed! 

planting, book sale & game 5 Timberwolves

Finished planting my flowers from the band fundraiser, our school had a book fair at our beloved local bookstore and students donated some books from our great local bookstore, Fox Den. Lastly watching the Timberwolves win game 5 of the series versus the Golden State Warriors! 

last track meet of the season

Osten had his last meet of his 8th grade season and it was another scorcher. He opted to skip the 400 again. He ran the 1600 and did the long jump. Brad and I arrived just as he started his race. So proud of him! 

Got home and started planting my flowers from the band fundraiser. I hope they look great in the morning! 

Brad, Osten and I are watching the 4th game of the Timberwolves and Golden State Warriors playoff game. Currently tied at 14 in the first quarter. Let’s go Wolves!

 What a lovely Mothers Day!

The sun rose about 5:30 this morning and I got to see it! We paddled and did a little fishing. Then I hiked a little bit, read and made hotdogs on the solo stove. 

We moved inside to watch the Timberwolves beat the Warriors. Pretty fantastic day!

I took Friday off school for a little get away with Brad & Maggie and Hal Watson. Brad had come up early and we drove up Friday morning. So far we’ve hiked, had a great dinner and have been enjoying a fantastic fire in our solo stove.

The Timberwolves came back in game two. We’re now 1-1 with Golden State in the NBA playoffs. I fully think it’s because I wore my new Jaden McDaniels jersey. 

K80 homeboumd for the summer

Sweetest day…picking up my heart named Katie from MN State Mankato today. She’s driving home and we’ll unload her gear for the summer. What a gift.
