Friday night with the family

 

Got a chance to hang out with family for Thai tonight. We miss Anders, but it’s great to have Katie and Osten with!

The Timberwolves run is over. We lost last night and now it’s time to rest. Such a fun experience. 

8 years

It’s been 8 years Dad since we’ve been here without you. We miss you! My wonderful brother Kyle got Mom out to the cemetery this afternoon so they could visit Dad. What a wonderful way to remember. 

We were able to greet the students who were first graders my first year of teaching at RFPME. So lovely to see Natalie, Henry, Libby, Arden and lots of other students. Missed D’Andre and Gray, but such a cool tradition. 

My amazing assistant did a project with the kids today making a picture for our silent auction tomorrow night. It’s really cool to have all our names and finger prints together.

game 4 loss

Just got home from the western conference finals game… we lost by 2 points in nail biter! So fun though. Especially going with OKC fans Marci and Coulter. 

game 3 win!

Brad and Brent went to game 3 of the western conference finals and saw the Timberwolves beat the Thunder by 42 points! It was an amazing game. These are photos Brad got of their warmup.

Celebrating the new grad Sydney Beseke! I got to spend time with Mom, cousins Melinda, Jennifer, Barb, Tammi, Trudi, aunts Loie and Marilyn and brothers/sister Kyle, Kim and Kurt.

We had 45 minutes and we had dinner together at Tattersall. Lovely patio on a sunny spring day. Thank you beautiful daughter! 

ouch…2nd loss for the Timberwolves

Tonight we really wanted to win, but it just didn’t happen. They played hard the entire gam. We lost to the OKC Thunder and are now 0-2 in the Western Conference Championships. Bright side is the sunshine and pretty flowers!

Big O is 15 today. We just went to Canes Chicken and will go home to eat cupcakes! Happy birthday big guy!

Our sweet OJO will be crossing the threshold into mid teens as a 15 year old tomorrow. 

western conference finals game 4

Osten, Marci, Coulter and I are planning a trip to Target Center to see the MN Timberwolves face the OKC Thunder on Memorial Day! It's game 4 of the series and I hope we see a Timberwolves victory. OKC is ranked first in the western conference and we are sixth. Should be exciting to say the least. 

cleaning day & passport photo for our almost 15 year old

I spent much of the day today cleaning our green truck that we bought from Bud. There was a funky odor from a spill in the back seat. I took everything out, vacuumed, did a carpet shampoo, washed the dash, windows and started to put things back in to the truck. I’m excited to see how it looks when it’s all done. 

We also went to get Osten’s passport photo taken—-he looks way different than he did in 2020! 

graduation day!

So proud of Anders as he finished his studies with a BBA in finance and accounting at UW Eau Claire. We saw him cross the stage and then went out to celebrate with our whole family and his very good college friends. When we got home, I made brownie sundaes in his honor 🧑‍🎓🫶🏼
