thankful for safety

After the horrific events in a small school in Texas, I am thankful all three of our children are home safe and sound. Anders finished up his finals today and went to work out with me. Katie went to school, swim practice and weight lifting. Osten went to school. 

I don’t want to make sense of this unthinkable and senseless violence. Humans make mistakes, but this????  

Another bright spot of my day was the nearly finished classroom artwork lead by my friend Petra.
