We started the day in Janesville and left our hotel about 7:45am. Our first stop was 412 Brooke Drive in Normal, Illinois where we lived pre-kids and as very new parents (about 3 weeks).
Next stop was Steak and Shake in central Illinois. Katie did about an hour of driving and did a great job. Then we got to Kentucky and about an hour later to Tennessee. It was so fun to hear Osten stories and marvel at the green grass!
Dinner at a Chinese buffet in Nashville & then to hotel. Brad and Osten went to the bar to get some beverages and Katie and I went to the fitness center to get our steps.

Now we’re resting for springing ahead tomorrow morning and finishing our road trip to Fort Walton Beach.
By the way, the temp here in Tennessee is identical to home… 27 degrees
