field day

On Monday, our school did service projects in the morning and then did field activities in the afternoon near Glen Park. I ended up taking about 27,000 steps that day!

I worked with Ms. Katie and friend Mike N. to help kids paint blue bikes. Blue bikes are donated bikes that are placed throughout River Falls for people to use when they are visiting or are in need of a lift from one place to the next in town. Our kids cleaned them, applied stickers and also got an opportunity to spray paint the bikes.

Afternoon, I timed the mile run around Glen Park. It was a really fun day and the children seemed to have a terrific time.
