Last night as we were losing the game (Vikings lost 7-38 to the Philadelphia Eagles), we got a great phone call from the School District of River Falls stating that we weren't going to have school today. After a small dance party with Osten, we decided it would be a great idea to watch Ace Ventura Pet Detective. I ended up falling asleep pretty early.
This morning, I woke up shortly after 8am and then got ready to walk to school. I arrived at school just as the snow was starting to fall. I spent a full day in the classroom doing some filing and preparing for the remainder of the school year.
I walked home shortly after 5pm and it took about 4 minutes longer than it normally takes and it was quite challenging to trudge through the estimated 6-12 inches of snow. Huge thanks to Charlie and Nancy for helping clear the snow from our sidewalk and driveway.
