merry Christmas Eve

We’re hanging at Grantsburg for Christmas Eve and heard the most beautiful Oh Come Oh Come Emmanuel  anthem by Erin Sponselor at Faith Lutheran. Tomorrow we will open gifts & enjoy spending time together. Ally and Anders were here and are how are headed to Minnetonka for her family Christmas.

We headed up to Grantsburg and celebrated Brads birthday. Tomorrow we will have soups and Christmas Eve fun❤️💚❤️💚

My incredible, thoughtful, funny, charming and handsome husband Brad is 53 today! Anders surprised us with a visit as we were lighting the candles on his chocolate chip cookie cake. Now we’re watching videos about Sigurd Olson and the Boundary Waters. 

solstice

We made it! It’s winter and we will be gaining just over 2 minutes of daylight per day until the summer solstice in June 21. 

Today was a Vikings victory, celebrating the Falcons going to the Division 3 National Championship and meeting Julie for shopping and dinner. 

family Christmas

Started the day and got ready for our Olson family Christmas I made meatloaf and chicken chili and Brad made a pasta. We opened our gifts, the kids played some cards and we watched the bears beat the packers. It was a lovely evening! 

last school day of 25, solstice celebration and Baileys

 

What an amazing day. Started with the last day of the 2025 year at school and celebration of the winter solstice. 

Then was the 15th Baileys party at the Stoffels. Brad went to Osten’s basketball game in Eau Claire—their team won. 

I slept over at the party and got a beautiful swimsuit cover up from Kim. It was a really great day.
