I had a favorite shirt I purchased at a garage sale 14 years ago in Marine while visiting my friend Julie. Several years ago, it went missing. I thought I accidentally donated the shirt. 

This weekend, I was cleaning my closet and moved a set of drawers from the closet out. The drawers have kids’ pictures and I relocated to Osten’s new downstairs room in his closet. And what to my wondering eyes did appear? My never forgotten but very much missed favorite shirt!

Brad and I were honored to be sponsors of the precious Crosby Harland Hauser. Lovely ceremony and celebration of his baptism today in Sartell. What a gift to his family.

UWEC had their homecoming game vs Stevens Point. They won 41-0, but we were there to see the marching band! Anders did a terrific job playing a Dolly Parton medley,Bruno Mars and more. After the game, they did a little concert that was super fun to watch.  We went and got Osten new basketball shoes and out to dinner at Jade Garden with Anders and Ally.  Wonderful day!

Looks like Dolly Parton is impressed the Blugolds are performing her work. Also sad to see Osten’s 8th grade football season come to an end. They lost to New Richmond 34-14. 

days at the cabin

 

Brads been at the cabin for the past eight days. Here are just a few photos of his adventures. He’s been grouse hunting, fishing and has been working on projects. It will be great to have him home again tomorrow!

The MN Vikings defeated the NY Jets 23-17 in London England…that takes us to 5-0 for the season. What an exciting season so far!

Great day watching the game, doing a little decorating and getting ready for the school week. 

This morning I picked Osten up from Ezekiel…he went to a confirmation retreat over the weekend at Luther Point. He was also an acolyte this morning and now he’s tall enough to light and extinguish the candles!
