halloween 2024

First year I was stationed at home solo for trick or treaters! Osten went with friends and walked home on his own. He wore his Justin Jefferson Jersey and stopped at some of our friends’ house. We had about 8 people stop by including one of my sweet students and her family. Katie said she would send me photos, but I haven’t received any thus far. 

Brad returned from a trip to Chicago…he should be home for a long while as he has no travel plans the remainder of 2024❤️

And now there are three Jack o’ Lanterns. The B team carved so not fancy like every other year, but not too shabby! 

It's funny--a squirrel or chipmunk started by carving job as I put the pumpkins outside for a few days before I carved them. They nibbled a bit of one of the pumpkins.

A pretty decent read today and I made it to the polls between school and an after school event called Child As a Guide Night.

Our incredible sister Kim said we should do a photo wall for mom so she could see how people are related in our family. I gathered photos and just printed and sent them to Kim. Here’s a peek at some of them. While I was doing that I also made moms 2025 calendar with the same photos.

I was inspired by a friend who packed a special Halloween package for her Freshman. I backed cookies and packed some goodies for both Anders and Katie today! So fun and I hope they enjoy the love from across the miles.

Grandma B would be proud! We spent several hours shopping in Mankato with Katie today. So much fun together. Lovely early morning walk, coffee at the Hag and time visiting with Brent and Molly while Osten hung out with Ike. Fun getaway Friday/Saturday.

first loss of the season but Anders was home!

The Vikings had their first loss of the season to the Lions. It was a close one, but the best part was our Anders and Ally were home to see the game and eat wings!

A heartwarming movie with my Bradley and Osten. We saw the Wild Robot at the Falls theater. Great way to spend a Saturday night.
