steps steak broken

A bit of a relief, but my step streak is over. I’m down with fever and aches today. I don’t think I’ll even make 1000 steps. Oh well. I have a sub tomorrow so we’ll see how it goes.

2 years running snow day 2-22!

We had an at home learning day and lots and lots of snow today. It turns out one of my former students named Snow is celebrating her 10th birthday today. Is it a coincidence?

I got an opportunity to run at the Falcon Center today and put in a 4 miler on the treadmill. It felt great.

89 years ago today

It was Monday, February 19, 1934, you were born in the year of the dog and are a member of the silent generation. Some interesting events of 1934 include Bonnie and Clyde being killed and Bridget Bardot being born.

The world gained a really interesting and caring person 89 years ago today. Many people, including our beautiful, kind, gentle and loving Mom, Vivian Grace, miss you every day. We are comforted and entertained by the memories you impressed upon our lives.

Here are some photos that I chose to help keep those memories fresh:

6th gold final tournament

Scenes from Osten’s final tournament at Baldwin-Woodville today. Anders drove over from Eau Claire and we cheered, the team hustled, but the team went 0-3 today. After the tournament we had dinner together at Carbone’s in Roberts where Osten won the hustle award.

Then Brad, Osten, Anders and I went to Minneapolis to watch the movie, Everything, Everywhere All at Once. It’s been nominated for 11 academy awards and it was very evident why…

It was a fantastic day!
