a dozen miles and a beautiful and busy Saturday

This morning, I stuck to my plan of rising early and hitting the road. We spent the night in Bud and Betty's basement (thank you so much) and when the alarm sounded at 5:30am, I woke up and laced up my new running shoes. The FitBit 2 was set for a goal of 12 miles. Off to run around Wood Lake--ran to Luther Point Bible Camp, around the camp and then back to North Shore Drive. My distance marker went off very close to Brent and Molly's house.

The rest of the day we ran errands including getting ingredients for making food for dinner (rhubarb strawberry crisp and funeral potatoes), going to the hunting shack to realize Brad needs to mow lawn there on Sunday, going to the Drive Inn for lunch, calling Grandma B to plan a visit with her tomorrow, getting the tarp on the boat lift, taking the kids out for a tube behind the pontoon and making food for dinner.

Soon, we will head over to Brent and Molly's place with the food and spend time hanging out and maybe have a bonfire!
