many thanks

Tonight I was preparing for my alpha lesson (1st graders) on the North American countries of Cuba, the Dominican Republic and Haiti. I always knew that people in Haiti live in poverty, but watching a video about how many kids live on the streets in Haiti really put it into perspective. It's alarming the differences between Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Haitians average life expectancy is 53 white Domincans live to be 77. They live on the same island-Hispanola.

What can I do? I want to know so this trend can change.
