wonderful birthday

Started the day with sleeping in and breakfast in bed from my amazing husband. Katie brought me a cupcake and macarons and she and Osten sang happy birthday. Drove to Fairmont to celebrate with the Blomgren family. Now heading to bed for more celebration

tomorrow. 

last day of being 52

What a terrific day to spend rounding out #52. Black Friday shopping with my regulars—Ibby, Dehlia and Katie. Punch pizza and a sighting of Santa’s workshop, roller derby and getting a dozen roses from my very special daughter, Kathryn Grace. 

When we got home, I decorated the office tree, hiked to the mounds at Hoffman and wrapped all the Olson and Blomgren exchange Christmas presents. 

Now it’s time to crash! 

happy Thanksgiving—Baileys recipe

Morning with making Baileys and cheesy potatoes. Our family was all together celebrating at Sharon Christenson’s place. Yummy meal and conversations for us all. The Lions won the first game, the Cowboys are playing the Giants at the half the Cowboys are up. Last game of the night is Packers vs. Dolphins. 

Katie is spending the night with Dehlia and then we are planning to go Black Friday shopping tomorrow morning. Love our traditions!

Thanks for Osten for helping get boxes from attic and back into the attic. Thanks to Katie for setting up the Christmas village. Is the in between to get our home ready for the Christmas season!

After school today, I drove to Mankato to pick up one of my all time favorite people! She wanted to stop at Canes to surprise her little brother with dinner ❤️

She’s settling into her room and I’m heading to bed, but I’m looking forward to spending some quality time together!

My favorite player #20 had a great game versus Hudson Monday night. They are currently undefeated this season! Hope it keep rolling!

Finished our weekend with face masks and cookie packing. Also hugs to my Beata whom I’ll see in just a few days when I pick her up from MSU.
