Snow ❄️ is falling and walks in the falling snow are pretty special. Osten and I walked to confirmation together and then I went to the office to set up a little Christmas tree I bought myself for my birthday.

Our sweet ring bearer Stuart is 31 today! Also watching a cool documentary about da Vinci. So interesting.

Osten’s 8th grade basketball team beat Osceola in a good game this evening. Osten scored the first basket and the last one! Way to go big guy. 

Grandpa Bud came to the game with Brad…that was very special!

We didn’t really anticipate the Vikings doing this well this season. Really nice surprise. 

Bonus is the Timberwolves won in a buzzer beater by new player Randle. Great day for MN sports fans.

Today, I spent some time decorating outside for winter! Went to the compost site and got some great greenery and grasses. I harvested our hydrangeas and added some fun decorations that I had used before or picked up at Michael’s last weekend. 

This evening I met dear friend Julie for dinner and then we met Trish for dancing at the Dugout in Mahtomedi.

Our red truck has a new home! Now we’re down to two vehicles for two drivers. The Prius and the green truck formerly owned by grandpa Bud. It was an adventure res truck, but I hope a new family enjoys your transport.

My friend Kim who is a big music fan has a favorite band, the Avett Brothers. She leant me a documentary and Brad and I watched it. I decided they are now a favorite of mine as well. I plan on going to a concert with Kim next summer!

Today our school celebrated Veterans Day and we were able to celebrate those who are living who served our country. Thank you Bud, Brad, Brent and Stuart! 

Four of our friend group are celebrating November birthdays. MicMad, Jen, Kim and Karen. We celebrated today at Tattersall. It was delightful.

The three who still live at home got a chance to road trip first to Mankato to treat Katie to lunch at a great Indian restaurant and then spend the afternoon with Grandma B. We visited and then went thrifting and to the dollar store in Mountain Lake. What a great day to spend with three generations!

Enjoying nature at this beautiful time of year and connecting the peacefulness of walking outdoors with my son, it’s our preferred mode of transportation!

Brad and I are beyond thrilled to watch our Anders Cole on stage with the UWEC Blugolds. He and one other sousaphone accompanied the final piece, it’s a wonderful world. So incredibly proud of our musician son!
